The Hellenic Ministry of National Defence has announced the launch of the Hellenic Unified Registry of Defence Sector Enterprises (HURDSE), which officially replaces the former Registry of Manufacturers of Defence Material (RMDM).
The new registry was established under the provisions of Presidential Decree 59/2025 (Government Gazette A’ 113/30.06.2025) and falls under the jurisdiction of the General Directorate for Defence Investments and Armaments (GDDIA) – Directorate of Investments and Technological Research (DITR).
Enterprises seeking registration in the HURDSE must now submit their files in accordance with the updated procedures defined by Presidential Decree 59/2025. A dedicated Registration Guide has been published to facilitate the process.
As part of the transitional provisions, existing certificates issued under the RMDM framework (Presidential Decree 3/2008) remain valid until their expiration date.
According to the most recent update (25 June 2025), 37 companies are already registered in the new HURDSE system.
This development marks an important step towards the modernisation and unification of the Greek defence industrial registry framework, ensuring compliance with updated legislation and enhancing transparency and competitiveness in the sector.
